About

Hesham Marold is a Cairo-born producer based in Berlin. He has worked on feature and short films, video installations, music videos, and live performances. While having had the chance to work with a diverse group of people Hesham has a particular interest in collaborations with fellow Arab filmmakers and artists. His films have been screened at film festivals, cinemas and galleries such as Berlinale, IFFR Rotterdam, Clermont-Ferrand and Hošek Contemporary.  In 2024 he founded Milkman Films, an independent production company through which he continues to drive and support projects he loves.
